failing cpa

this morning, i checked the result of my cpa exam. i was hoping that i could pass this last exam. however, i failed. i got 74, while the passing score is 75. i was so disappointed. it was only one point away from passing. and actually compared with the other 3 exams, this was the easiest exam, i think, as I think i can do the multiple choice questions even though i screwed up on the simulations.
it was interesting that the part that i felt confident, in fact i failed whereas the parts that i'm not so confident, i passed. anyway, i've appealed for rescoring but it's gonna take like 3-4months. and of course i could not wait. i'll study again and retake the exam in April. i hate studying. i need to make a lot of sacrifices for it. but i'm sure it's going to be paid off in the future.
i believe God purposely gave me 74. if let say i passed all at once without even failing, i will be so proud that i'm at a young age has passed the cpa exam. most people who take this exam, they fail once at least. so i believe that God wants to teach me humbleness. it's only one point that makes me to be humble. i know it's kind of depressing to know that it's only one more point, but getting 74 points means that i'm almost there.
with this lesson of failure and humbleness, i'm sure it is all God's plan for me to mold me to be a better person.

Anyway just for fun, below is the statistic for one testing window for CPA exam:

Pass Statistics - 2007 Window #1

AUD 44.44% Passed

BEC 43.84% Passed

FARE 43.65% Passed

REG 42.02% Passed

interesting fact again. so basically i failed the one which most people passed (audit). well, i've never taken audit class in school before, but i don't think that's the primary reason why i failed. anyway, it's so weird...
